In each generation it was instilled to take care of the land and leave it in a better state than you found it.

Our grass fed cattle have been paramount to adding the necessary natural fertilizer to our farm so we have no need for chemical fertilizers on our land.  The current flavour of garden produce has fallen by the wayside. This is very much related to the deterioration of the mineral content. The minerals in the soil form the compounds that give the herbs, fruits & vegetables their flavour. Our land is also free of herbicides and pesticides, which causes our wild flower honey & garden products to have excellent flavour. One of the rewarding things on our farm is biting into a juicy strawberry on a warm day, the flavour is heavenly.
